Local rules for owners

The application requires owner contact details, a 24-hour emergency contact, proof of a transaction privilege tax license, and a description of safety equipment locations, and Section 10-199 requires notice to adjacent properties.
  • Arizona law (A.R.S. 33-1902) requires every residential rental owner to register the property with the Maricopa County Assessor, keep the information updated within 10 days of any change, and, if the owner lives out of state, designate an Arizona statutory agent. A rental may not be occupied until this registration is on file.
